A young man (19) was killed in a motorcycle accident in Main Road, Durbanville last night (1 December).
Around 20:35 Titanium Securitas Medical Response received multiple calls regarding a serious motorcycle collision in Main Road, according to a post by Titanium Securitas on Facebook.
“On arrival a 19-year-old man was found on the scene. He had sustained fatal injuries. Unfortunately nothing could be done and he was declared dead on the scene.
“Our heartfelt condolences go to his family and friends, who arrived shortly after the incident,” said a spokesperson for Titanium Securitas in the post.
Local authorities attended the scene and were expected to conduct a full investigation.
