A 60-year-old Brackenfell woman died at approximately 10:40
on Wednesday (27 Wednesday) after an accident in the parking area of a shopping
centre in Protea Heights, Brackenfell.
Brackenfell police spokesperson, Captain Erica Crous, says:
“It is not clear what caused the accident, but the lady allegedly collided with
the back of a stationary vehicle in the parking area.”
She says the woman died on the scene.
“The possibility that the accident occurred due to a medical
condition suffered by the deceased, will be investigated, but cannot be
confirmed at this stage,” Crous says.
“An inquest docket was opened by Brackenfell police and will
be investigated.”
