A 32-year-old woman sustained critical injuries when her vehicle crashed into a tree along the N1 inbound near the Plattekloof turn off.
According to ER24 spomesperon Werner Vermaak the accidebt happened at approximately 17:00.
“Paramedics from ER24’s Critical Care Retrieval Services came across the incident.
“Upon investigation, they found the woman trapped inside the vehicle.”
Vermaak says rescue tools were used to free her from the wreckage. Paramedics from Metro Rescue and Life Healthcare also attended the incident.
“Once freed, she was placed on life support and rushed to a nearby hospital for further care,” he says.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known.
