Not being a smoker of cannabis, or anything else for that matter, I still find South Africa’s laws surrounding cannabis to be archaic.
In Canada, where I resided in the province of British Columbia for 15 years, it has been legalised; in various US states it has also been legalised.
This is Africa – what is this government’s problem with falling in line with the Western world?
Does Law Enforcement not have anything better to do than prosecute for cannabis possession?
I’m sure they do. How about all those farm murders and all the crime? Worry about law and order in this country and stop bothering peaceful people who like to smoke or grow their own weed.
