The beautiful young Mila du Plooy (12) did Van Riebeekshof proud when she paraded her victory of the Miss Global Princess South Africa Pre-Teen Miss 2024 title following the national chapter’s close on Sunday 7 July at the Sky Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Mila qualified to take the world stage of the Global Princess pageant in February next year, and also invited to dare the runway in the United States for the New York Fashion Week in September.
The Country Director of Miss Global Princess South Africa (Pty) Ltd Venessa Szendrei announced Mila’s esteemed national title victory for being awarded the prestigious title of Miss Global Princess South Africa Pre-Teen Miss 2024.
“Mila has demonstrated exceptional qualities throughout her journey, and it is with immense pride that we endorse her as the representative of South Africa at the forthcoming Miss Global Princess International Pageant to be held in the United States.”
Proud moment
Her mother, Chantelle, gushed at her daughter’s victory, saying: “She took the stage and it was is if everyone simply knew she was going take the title… this will open many doors for her beautiful future.”
Kenridge Primary School also expressed their immense pride in her title victory on Facebook: “Mila embodies extraordinary grace, intelligence and commitment to making a positive impact on society. Her accomplishments in the field of community service are truly remarkable. Kenridge is proud of you, Mila.”
As a member of Ace Models in Durbanville, she is one of Miss Global Princess South Africa 9 Queens who won the National Titles in their age category and form part of the South Africa Team that is going to represent the country in New York.

She has dedicated herself to initiatives that address critical social issues in South Africa, such as education, healthcare, and women’s empowerment. Her leadership skills have led her to collaborate effectively with numerous non-profit organisations, creating a lasting impact in the lives of the underprivileged,” added Szendrei.
Her participation in the Miss Global Princess International Pageant will not only provide her with a global platform to showcase her talents but also serve to foster stronger ties between South Africa and the United States.
