Police have launched a manhunt for three men that allegedly robbed the iStore at Tyger Valley Mall on Wednesday 11 April.
Bellville police spokesperson, Fienie Nimb said three men entered the shop just after 9:40 and two of them locked staff members and a security guard into a store room.
“One of the men had a firearm which he used to scare the victims”
“The two unarmed men then took merchandise worth R200 000 before fleeing the scene,” she said.
According to Nimb, nobody was harmed during the incident.
A business robbery case is being investigated.
The men fled the scene in a vehicle with fake registration plates.
