So, word’s out that Kfm 94.5 is looking for a name for their newest member, affectionately and temporarily known as ‘K’.
In the build-up to giving K a new name to complete his identity, TygerBurger and Kfm 94.5 got up at the crack of dawn this morning to let Capetonians know that we need their kids’ help in the matter.
This amazing campaign calls on all primary school children to design his T-shirt and name the radio station’s new mascot. All relevant information on the campaign is available in the latest copies of the People’s Post and TygerBurger newspapers.
Motorists appeared happy to see both teams out early in the streets and engaging with them, hooting and cheering the teams on.
But, of course the star of the morning was the mascot – who kept all the attention to himself.
Many passersby stopped, while an excited motorist or two got out of their cars to take photos with the mascot.
To enter the competition, interested participants need to grab the latest copies of People’s Post or TygerBurger newspapers and fill out the entry form, fill it in with their T-shirt design and WhatsApp a picture of their entry to 079 519 7374.
Participants stand a chance to win a Toy Kingdom trolley dash worth R5 000 for themselves, a R10 000 Toy Kingdom voucher for their school and a Kfm Mornings live broadcast at their school.
The competition will close at 09:00 on Thursday 10 May and the winner will be announced on Kfm Mornings with team Darren, Sherlin and Sibs on the morning of Friday 18 May.
