Two taxis that overturned on Robert Sobukwe and De la Rey roads on Friday afternoon (15 September) left 25 people injured.
The taxis collided with each other, which resulted in both overturning.
City of Cape Town’s Traffic services spokesperson, Richard Coleman, says four children aged between 13 and 15 years were slightly injured in the accident.
The injured were been transported to hospitals for treatment.
Coleman says there are lane restrictions on both Robert Sobukwe road and Akkerboom Avenue.
“We ask motorists to please take caution when approaching the intersection.”
