Two men were shot and killed on Durban Road in Bellville
this afternoon.
According to eyewitnesses, the men were leaving the Legal
Aid offices in Van der Stel Building just after 12:00 when two men in a car
fired several shots at them.
“The men then came out of the car and shot them… in the
heads,” says an eyewitness.
It is believed the men died on the scene.
When TygerBurger arrived at the scene, the two bodies lay
uncovered, parallel to each other, and police were busy with investigations.
Another witness, who works close to the scene, confirms that
she heard several shots being fired before the commotion erupted.
“I was too scared to go out and see what had happened.”
The road was blocked up to De Lange Street and motorists
were using alternative routes.
