Police are investigating the murder of two alleged gang members in Bonteheuwel.
Elsies River spokesperson Constable Samantha Adonis says the two men, an 18 and 17-year-old were shot on the corner of Bonteheuwel Avenue and Mahogany Street at 21:00.
“A 17-year-old was shot in the neck and head and the 18-year-old was shot in the head.”
Both males died on the scene.
Adonis says the police are still investigating what led to the shooting of the two ‘Dannah boys’ members.
“The suspects are unknown at this stage. According to the community, the shooters were on foot,” she says.
No arrest has been made yet and the police investigation continues.
