Traffic on Van Riebeeck Road is backed up this afternoon, following an accident involving a truck. Although details are scant at present, traffic officials have been
dispatched to the scene.
Captain Isaac van Niekerk says
that no deaths were reported in the aftermath of the collision.
“Injuries will be
communicated once they are confirmed,” he says.
Earlier, a Facebook user has warned motorists in Eersteriver, Bluedowns and Blackheath to steer clear of a taxi
that has skipped a red robot.
At the time of publishing the
article, it was not clear whether it was this taxi that’s involved in the accident.
