A young mother of two young girls was brutally killed in Victory Drive in Bernadino Heights, Kraaifontein, on Wednesday (20 September).
The deceased is said to have been a witness to a murder a few months ago, and had to appear in court on the day of her murder, a community member says.
The deceased is the third person to be killed in shootings in the Kraaifontein area this week.
Two friends from Scottsdene, Charlton Fass and Nathan Basson, were shot on Tuesday.
The motive for their murders — in front of learners and in broad daylight — is unknown at this stage.
Provincial police spokesperson FC van Wyk, confirms the shooting of the female victim (28) at the location in Bernadino Heights.
He says a murder case was registered for investigation.
