I would hereby like to express my sincere and grateful thanks to the people who assisted me in N1 City Mall on Friday 9 June when I lost my handbag.
Firstly, thanks to the honest person who found my handbag and handed it in at Mr Price.
Secondly, to the lady who happened to pass by and overheard the commotion – she stopped and told me that she had seen someone handing in a handbag at the shop. I rushed off immediately and retrieved the bag.
Thank you very much for this information that you gave to me.
And thirdly, a big thanks to the caring staff at Pick ‘n Pay who realised I was in shock.
They sat me down and gave me water to drink while they broadcast an announcement for my sister to come to the front of the shop to help.
I am almost 82 years old, and it is wonderful to know that there are still so many helpful and sincere people in the world.
