A 52-year-old taxi driver has been gunned down on the corner of Symphony Way and Erica Drive on Thursday 25 January.

According to Delft police spokesperson Warrant Officer Brian Daniels, the incident took place at 08:00. When police officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim with two gunshot wounds to the head.

A witness says the driver had stopped along the road because he had a problem with the taxi.

“The motive for this incident is unknown.”
