Bayside Mall embraced the spirit of giving this Valentine’s Month by inviting Community Medics to take part in their “Love In Action” community awareness initiative last week.

The event aimed to spread kindness and raise awareness about the vital work of emergency responders, highlighting the importance of community support and care.

Shoppers stopped to chat to the volunteers – to show support, make a donation, and buy branded mugs.

“Know that 100% of your donations go straight back into patient care; that your monthly donations (debit orders) serve as our only form of predictable income, and that your purchases of our merchandise help share the love – the greatest gift of all: Life – this Valentine’s Month,” says Craig von Essen.

All donations received each year qualify you for a Section 18A tax deduction certificate from Sars, ahead of the financial year end on 28 February.
