Ozzie’s Pristine Coachworks hosted a platform for other small businesses in the greater Epping industrial area to display their products and services to the public.
Ozzie’s Pristine Coachworks is a small business based in Epping, Cape Town.
The owners are Muneeb and Wafekah Osman.
The business is a subsidiary of KNGASO Holdings. The business was started to leave a legacy behind for their five daughters and to show the world that this industry is not for men only.
“We are proud to announce that we have a qualified female spray painter on board,” Wafekah Osman, co-owner of Ozzie’s Pristine Coachworks, said.
“We hope to send more females on apprenticeships. Our launch and the grand opening took place on Saturday 3 September. We felt we wanted to share the day with other small businesses. This allowed for them to showcase their goods.”
They know the struggles of a small business
According to Osman, being a small business they know the struggles of surviving the pandemic.
They hosted about 30 vendors at no cost to the vendors.
Among these vendors were Feetish, Pristine Cafe, Variety Goods, Al Mahier Grills, Sparkle and Shine, Mr B Sushi, Capital Legacy, The Smoking Pilot, Shundurr Creations, Rafiki Orzim-Mclouds Vape Store, The Sock Box, GD Suites, Shams Gifts, AMC Cookware, YK gifts and toys.
There was a variety of stalls from jewellery to socks, candy, toys and delicious foods.
The Ford Motor Company was there too, one of their approved partners.
They had some beautiful cars on display.
“Despite the rain, we had about 200 people visiting and attending the event.”
Each vendor shared their story
The first 50 guests were welcomed with coffee and a cupcake. Many of the vendors offered spot prizes. There were live draws on stage, and prizes gifted by the vendors. Each vendor had the opportunity to share about themselves.
The input received from the vendors was that they were supported by the community and the day was a success. “It meant a lot to us to have so many families, friends and community come out to show their support for not only our business Ozzie’s Pristine Coachworks but others too, Osman concluded.
Ozzie’s Pristine Coachworks intends to provide top-quality service to the community of Cape Town at affordable prices.
