Kraaifontein police are appealing for help in tracing the whereabouts of Marinda Julies (37) following the disappearance of a baby boy named Lucas Cedras.
According to a police statement, the eight month old baby was reported missing on Tuesday (10 January) after Julies allegedly took the child from his grandmother to “show him to someone” down the street at about 09:00.
Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk says Julies never returned the boy to his family.
An abduction case is being investigated and anyone with information about the whereabouts of the child or Julies is asked to call Kraaifontein Police Station on 021 980 5533 or Warrant Officer Deon Beck on 079 893 9857.
