A 27-year-old woman will appear in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stabbing a Scottsdene mother to death.
On Monday (20 March) TygerBurger was informed of the death of the mother in a shooting.
However, police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk, says the incident in Highlands Crescent was a stabbing and not a shooting.
He says the 36-year-old mother was stabbed by another woman who also allegedly assaulted the mother’s sister.
“The incident is not gang-related. A 27-year-old lady was arrested and will be appearing in the Blue Downs Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 22 March.
Van Wyk did not respond to questions about what led up to the incident or what the relationship between the victim and the suspect was and says this is still under investigation.
