Due to work being conducted on water mains in Edward Street today (Monday 13 February) the entire road will be closed from 17:00 to 23:00.
According to a notice issued to building owners and tenants in the street on Friday, in addition to the road closure there will be an interruption in the water supply while works are underway.
The notice states the City of Cape Town will be creating a water connection to the main supply line during this time.
According to Spear Properties, one of the landlords in the street, they have been informed that the entire road will be closed at 17:00.
