A Bishop Lavis principal was stabbed by an unknown man today (18 April).
Police spokesperson, Constable Samantha Adonis, says the principal arrived at the Bishop Lavis School of Skills shortly after 07:00 when an unknown man wearing a balaclava entered the school premises and attacked the principal.
Adonis says the principal was stabbed several times on his neck, back and shoulders. At this stage, he is stable and has been taken to hospital.
She also says the motive for the attack is still unknown and police have not yet established if the principal was also robbed.
