The power supply will be interrupted in parts of Durbanville on Saturday 18 May or Saturday 25 May from 08:00 to 20:00 due to critical electricity maintenance work to the major Uitkamp substation.

The power supply will be off on one of these days, but not on both days, depending on weather conditions, according to a media release by the City of Cape Town.Due to the complex nature of the infrastructure work, supply will be interrupted and the time of restoration may be delayed by a few hours, the City’s electricity generation and distribution department advises residents.
