Zoe Joshua (in black) has been missing since 11 September.

The Bishop Lavis family violence, child protection and sexual offences unit (FCS) is still looking for the missing 17-year-old Zoe Joshua who went missing on 11 September.

It is alleged that Zoe left home on Thursday with the three-year-old Jermica Andrews from Salberau, Elsies River, without informing anybody. At the time of her disappearance she was last seen wearing black cargo pants and pink slippers whilst Jermica was dressed in pink pants, a green hoodie top, green T-shirt and brown sandals.

Found

On Thursday the police told TygerBurger that Jarmica was found unharmed in Kleinvlei, Eerste River, but Zoe is still missing. The did not eleborate on the circumstances under which she was found.

Other media reported that Zoe, who is autistic, had a history of going missing and she was in the past placed in special care at the Lindelani Child and Youth Care Centre in Stellenbosch. She was discharged in 2024.
