City of Cape Town officials
clearing drains amid mass flooding made the grim discovery of a body in a drain
in Mitchells Avenue, Woodlands on Thursday 11 July.

Const Navon van Houten confirmed that
investigations were underway to TygerBurger.
“The City of Cape Town was
clearing-up a blocked drain that the community complained about when it was discovered a body was blocking the drain,” he said. “Further information
still needs to be detected.”
