Milnerton High School (MHS) is excited to announce that new teachers have joined the MHS family this year.

The school welcomed six new teachers, each with their own academic style.

Mischke Williams studied for her B Ed degree, majoring in Afrikaans and LO. She is keen on hockey and athletics and will be joining the Afrikaans department.

Andrea Lightley is an MHS alumni who read for her BA degree at UCT in English and media and writing. She has worked as a journalist, editor and as an educator at several schools before rejoining MHS as an educator. She will be joining the English department.

Brian Fraser comes from a culinary and hospitality background having studied to be a chef. He will be joining the consumers department. He has also coached both netball and hockey at national tournaments.

Adrian Paarwater is a Millies old boy who obtained his BA degree in geography and industrial psychology and then completed an Advanced Diploma in Management at UWC where he also captained the varsity rugby cup team.

Ilhaam Frederiks obtained her B Sc degree at UWC and completed her honours in chemistry at NMMU. Frederiks has worked as a research and development chemist and a lab assistant and analyst before joining the world of teaching. She will be joining the Physical Sciences department.

Lexi Bosman obtained her BA degree at UCT, majoring in English and Hebrew. She is a keen sportswoman, having played netball and water polo at first team level. Lexi will be joining the English department.

“We hope our new family members have a long and happy stay at MHS,” the school says.
