A large vegetation fire has resulted in poor visibility on the N7 highway near the Plattekloof Road off-ramp.
Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, Theo Layne says the fire broke out at about 13:40 and firefighters are currently on scene.
Motorists have also reported that traffic towards Table View and Plattekloof has slowed down due to poor visibility. Traffic in both directions is being affected.
