Traffic on the N1 Inbound was heavily backed up earlier after a truck jackknifed just before Giel Basson Drive this afternoon.
As a result, two lanes were closed and City officials were on the scene trying to move the truck.
According to a Facebook post by Cape Town Freeway, the scene has now been cleared and traffic is flowing swiftly.
It is not yet known what caused the incident.
