One person died in an accident on the N1 outgoing near Okavango Road on Friday (15 September) morning.
Resq Medix posted on its Facebook page that a person was declared dead by emergency services on arrival at the scene.
“Thank you to all services on the scene for the assistance.”
According to reports, the car rolled on the highway at about 05:30.
The cause of the accident is yet to be determined by the police.
Traffic has also been backed up on the N1 incoming from Brighton Road and Frans Conradie Avenue in the direction of Brackenfell.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
