A 47-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a
21-year-old Kuils River woman.
Chantelle Matthyssen was reported missing from her home on
the afternoon of Saturday 23 June before her lifeless body was found at a farm
near Wellington yesterday, 2 July.
“The circumstances related to this incident are under
investigation. A postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death,”
police spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana says.
The man was arrested in Wellington yesterday.
He will appear in the Wellington Magistrate’s Court on a
charge of murder tomorrow.
