A 31-year-old man from Bishop Lavis has died in an alleged gang shooting.
According to a police report, officers were called out to Vygie Road on Wednesday 25 January shortly before 21:00 where they found the body of the victim with several gunshot wounds.
Police spokesperson, Captain Marie Louw, says according to a witness the man was walking from a tuck shop when he was shot.
“The circumstances surrounding the murder is unknown at this stage. Two empty cartridges were found at the scene.”
