A 26-year-old man from Bonteheuwel has died following a shooting at a house in Jasmine Street.
Ward councillor, Angus Mckenzie, says he was called to the scene on Monday (29 May) where the man was found shot three times in the head and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
Bishop Lavis spokesperson, Constable Samantha Adonis, confirms the incident and says officers were called to the scene at about 19:50.
The man died in hospital and at this stage, police are unable to confirm if the incident is drug-related.
