The body of a man was discovered in his house in Oakdene, Kuils River yesterday (Sunday 6 August) afternoon.

According to provincial police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel André Traut, the circumstances surrounding the death of the 60-year old man are being investigated after he was stabbed to death in his residence during the weekend.

“It is suspected that the victim’s vehicle, a Hyundai Veloster with registration number CF 48751, was stolen during the apparent house robbery,” says Traut.

Police are investigating a murder case and no arrests have been made yet.
