A 34-year-old Parklands woman has died after allegedly being stabbed to death by her boyfriend on Saturday 22 April.
On Sunday 23 April, a resident living at Manhattan Place in Parklands contacted TygerBurger saying that a man stabbed his girlfriend in her apartment.
Table View police spokesperson, Captain Adriana Chandler, confirmed police were called to the scene.
She says the 28-year-old man arrived at the premises demanding to speak to Candice Williams (34) with whom he had a relationship.
“An argument ensued between the two parties and the suspect stabbed the victim with an object in the neck and abdomen. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene. A security company was contacted by a resident, who responded immediately. The suspect was still at the scene and was handed over to police. He will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 25 April,” she says.
