Close-up magic champion Jamian Fortune will be among the magicians assembled for the Cape Town Magic Club’s third season.

The northern suburbs teen was one of the winners at the 2016 Western Cape Junior Magician Championship and will join a team of international magic stars when the Cape Town Magic Club reopens its doors at a new venue from Monday (16 January).

The already sold-out opening night in the Bean Chamber of TRUTH Coffee Roasting HQ in Buitenkant Street will include performances by the entire season three cast, as well as guest performers.

Thereafter, magic fans can look forward to seeing the likes of Magic Club founder and host Marcel Oudejans, Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM) Africa champion Matt Gore, the UK’s Alan Marriott, “Magician Insane” Russell Fox, season one favourites Mawonga Gayiya and Andrew “Magic Man” Eland, guest performers Brendon Peel and Colin Underwod, and Jamain on Monday nights from 23 January until 27 March – with two shows at 19:00 and 21:00.

While the line-up changes every week, each show will see a host, feature and headline act take to the stage for a total of 90 minutes. Visit www.magic.capetown to see who’s performing when.

Tickets for the Cape Town Magic Club cost R150 or R125 for bookings of 10 or more from www.quicket.co.za. Visit www.magic.capetown for more about this season’s performers.
