The daughter of missing Kuils River resident Marline Andrews
(59), who was last seen at her home in Kuils
River on Thursday 5 April, is hoping for the
safe return of her mother.

Alfreda Joseph says her mother was a regular gambler who often
spent two to three days gambling at the Grand
West casino. After Andrews had not returned
home by Saturday evening (7 April) her daughter went to look for her at the casino. Upon not finding her, Joseph returned to the casino on both Sunday and
Monday to look for her mother.

“On Tuesday I realised something was wrong and that was when
I went to open a missing persons case at Kuils River Police
Station,” explains Joseph.

She has been in contact with GrandWest and says the last
time they were able to pick her mother up on their system is on Friday evening
6 April at about 22:15. Joseph confirms that currently the only lead in the
case is when the Thornton and Ruyterwacht cellphone towers picked up the switching on of her mother’s phone
on Thursday 12 April.

“There are currently no leads and we have contacted all of
our family out of town and they have not seen her,” says Joseph.

Marline Andrews is 59 years old and has short black and grey
hair. She is a diabetic and is currently not taking her medication. Andrews
also has a green “TJ” tattoo on one of her ankles.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts can contact
Alfreda on 084 806 8961.
