Kuils River police have welcomed the conviction of Ricardo Muller (42) and Bruce Muller (38) for housebreaking with the intent to steal and theft.
The brothers were sentenced at Kuils River Magistrates’ Court on Friday 26 April.

Bruce was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment of which six months is suspended for five years on condition he is not convicted for housebreaking with the intent to steal and theft, or the attempt thereof, during this period of suspension.
Beukes said the pair were caught and arrested in the Highbury area on 22 September 2021.
“On the mentioned day at about 13:00, the complainant was at home finishing his exercises when he heard a noise. He went to investigate and saw a man taking his purse from his bedside table.
“According to the complainant, the window was slightly open but the suspect had to open it further to get to his purse. The complainant then noticed the second suspect at a different window. Both suspects ran and the complainant followed them. The suspects were caught and the purse was picked up,” Beukes said.
