A Kraaifontein woman has landed in hot water after she was arrested by the Hawks for committing fraud of R9 million.
Hawks spokesperson, Captain Lloyd Ramovha, says Yolanda Faith Myburg (44) was arredted on Tuesday (14 February) and appeared in the Kuils River Magistrate’s court on the same day.
Myburg has been charged with fraud, allegedly perpetrated against DHL in the Kempton Park area over a period of time.
Ramovha says she has been on the run since her co-accused was arrested in 2016.
“She has been remanded in custody and is expected to make a follow-up court appearance in the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on 21 February.”
