The family of kidnapped Parow businessman, Liyaqat Parker, has
confirmed that he was safely reunited with them yesterday (Monday 17 September)
after being held in captivity for over two months.
The 65-year-old business man was kidnapped at his business
premises in Parow on Monday 9 July.
“The family is relieved that he is back and would like to request
the media and public to respect their privacy during this difficult time,”
their public relations company, Networx, said in a statement.
“The Parker family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to
everyone who has walked this journey with them and provided physical, emotional
and spiritual support. It is truly appreciated.”
