Table View
police are on the hunt for gunmen who held up a man in Table View on Monday.
According
to a report, shortly after 10:15 the man was walking to his vehicle, which was parked
in a parking area opposite a shop in Merlot Road, Table View.
Police
spokesperson Captain Adriana Chandler says the man had a large sum of cash with
him, which he was about to deposit at the bank.
”Four men, two armed with firearms approached the complainant
and demanded his cellphone, the cash and other personal belongings. The
victim handed everything over to the suspects. The suspects then fled the scene
in a white Nissan bakkie with registration CY 355942.”
The victim was not injured and no shots were fired.
