Home Affairs Tygervalley Mall – I was so pleased to see the announcement for this government department to be located in a safe environment, close to where I live.Unfortunately it is very disappointing.
Firstly, you can only apply for a passport online.
The form keeps hanging, so you cancel it and retry. Still no details are displayed, but it says it has been submitted.
Then you try to book an appointment. There are no slots available, and the advice given is ”get up at midnight and try then”.
They do not entertain walk-ins even though it is not busy. Completely pointless.
