Staff at Tygerberg Hospital in Parow are trying to trace the family of an unknown male patient being treated at the facility.
The patient has been registered as “Emergency TBH, Sierra October”. He was found in Pama Road, Site B in Khayelitsha and brought to Tygerberg by ambulance, the hospital said.
He is described as tall with visible bruise marks on his face.
The patient arrived at the hospital on Saturday 25 October.
“At this stage no family members or acquaintances had been identified or had come forward,” the hospital spokesperson said.
Anyone who may recognise the patient or who have information about his family are kindly requested to contact the hospital. It said the assistance of the public in helping them reunite the patient with his loves ones will be sincerely appreciated.
