A Brackenfell mother and her daughter have been found, after they were reported missing on 24 July.
The mother Mercia Flink (27), with her daughter Runique (3) and stepson, left their home Groenland Farm, Bottelary Road, Brackenfell at around 06:30, going to the clinic, according to Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana from the Western Cape police.
She says the eight-year-old boy has been found and is reunited with family, but there is no trace of the mother and daughter.
“The mother and children were reported missing on Monday by the children’s biological father and her life partner,” says Rwexana.
“The last time she was seen, Flink was wearing black jeans, a white top and black shoes. She is of average build with very short black hair and dark brown eyes. She has no front teeth. Runique has short red curly hair.”
