Desperate relatives are looking for Christiaan “Ian” Smith (54) who was last seen on Thursday 27 April.
Ian lives in Welgelegen and suffers from bipolar disorder.
“He was apparently last seen on that evening at the Total Garage next to the N1,” Smith’s ex-wife, Anna-Marie, told TygerBurger.
“He then left in the direction of Frans Conradie Drive.”
Ian, who needs his medication to function, has no medication on him. He is also in need of urgent medical attention and was last seen with bandages on his hands.
Anne-Marie says her son last saw Ian when he came to her flat in Burgundy Estate early on that Thursday morning.
He was wearing a striped shirt and khaki pants.
