There’s a new player in the health club market and it’s a refreshing alternative. A GO Health Club recently opened its doors in Durban Road, Tyger Valley, and it offers state-of-the-art equipment, stylish, crisp surroundings and up-to-the-minute technology.
At only R325 per month, prepare to change the way you think about health clubs forever …
When Justin Williamson, co-founder of GO Health Clubs, and his team decided that it was time for a revolution in the world of exercise and wellness, they made sure their focus was on the personal touch.
“For us, exercise should become an intrinsic part of your everyday life. It is GO Health Clubs’ mission to be the model 21st century health club that inspires and empowers people to do this.
“More and more South Africans use apps to track their activities – not only inside the club, but outside the club too. We wanted to make sure our definition of a workout is not limited to what people do in the club, but takes into account their whole lifestyle.”
To help create this unique and personal member-centric experience, GO Health Clubs partnered with global technology experts Technogym (Italian-crafted, state-of-the-art equipment, and the official fitness equipment supplier to the Olympic Games from 2000 to date) and Exerp (leaders in club management systems).
By bringing these technologies together, GO Health Clubs has created an efficient, single-member eco system.
All new members to the club are given a single access device, the GO Health Clubs Wellness Key, as well as access to the GO Health Clubs Fitness App, which is a first for South Africa. These tools provide users with access to the club, load their personal exercise programme into any machine they may use, and record and sync their indoor and outdoor activities. Through this innovative concept, users can track their overall performance and calories burnt, earning rewards for their efforts.
“The technology we offer you becomes a beneficial tool in setting goals and holding you accountable in order to achieve them. With more data, exercise lovers have more benchmarks to hit every time they use the treadmill or strap into a bike.”
It also adds fun, excitement and a wonderful sense of camaraderie.
