A 19-year-old gang member in Leonsdale was gunned down on Sunday (12 February).
Elsies River police spokesperson, Captain Daphne O’Reilly, says at 19:43 police were called to Talana Close where they found Thomas Parker (19) lying on his back.
The teen was shot twice in the chest and once in the mouth.
“It is alleged that two males came to the victim and they walked with him to the shop, and that is when the shooting started.
Three cartridges were found on the scene.”
She says Parker was an affiliate of the Bad Boys gang and at this stage no arrests have been made.
