Four people were lucky to have escaped serious injuries when three vehicles collided with each other on the N1 outbound near Klipheuwel on Wednesday (13 April).
According to a report from ER24 paramedics, they were dispatched to the scene shortly after 19:00 along with other services and on arrival found one of the vehicles completely ripped apart. Large pieces of debris were lying across the road surface.
ER24 spokesperson, Werner Vermaak, says they found that four adults sustained minor to moderate injuries.
“They were assessed and treated on scene before paramedics from Metro EMS and another service removed them to nearby hospitals.The exact circumstances surrounding the collision is not yet known.”
