At least four people were left injured after a shooting at
the Joe Slovo taxi rank in Milnerton this morning.
Western Cape police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk, says
unknown suspects opened fire and wounded four people early this morning.
“Of the four injured, three are taxi owners and one a
bystander,” he explains.
The City of Cape Town Traffic Service’s spokesperson,
Richard Coleman, says Omarumba Road has been closed between Racecourse Road and
Freedom Way as a result of the incident.
