A 27-year-old man believed to be a foreigner, will be appearing
in court soon on charges of attempted murder.
Table View police spokesperson, Captain Adriana Chandler, says
the suspect was arrested on Thursday morning shortly after midnight. The man
allegedly used what is believed to be an axe to assault another individual in
the Table View area.
Chandler says the attack took place after a verbal altercation
between the two.
“The police officers discovered the seriously injured victim in
a parking lot in Grey Avenue and took him to a nearby medical facility,” she
says.
The suspect was arrested and is being detained at the Table View
Police Station.
She says the victim is also a foreigner.
