Goodenough Avenue has been closed off to traffic due to a fire at a moving and storage company in Epping Industria 2.
According to the City of Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson, Theo Layne, fire and rescue services responded to the fire at Allied Pickfords just after 10:30 today (Friday).
Layne says there are currently 14 firefighting vehicles on scene with about 60 permanent firefighters.
“The cause of the fire is undetermined at this stage and no injuries have been reported,” Layne says.
