“Due to transport issues the club moved to the Metropolitan Football Association in the early 1980s, as the club house and most of the members lived in Bonteheuwel.”

The club participated in the Metropolitan leagues in all divisions from u-8 to Premier Division and won many trophies over the years, including the Premier League as well as the Western Province Football Association Junior Challenge Cup in the u-14 Division. “The club also participated in the WPFA Shell Promotional League and Caltex Colts.

“The club is currently playing at Rygate LFA in all the divisions from u-6 up to Premier Division after it moved back to Rygate LFA in 2018. It has grown in numbers over the years with many of the past members’ children and grandchildren currently playing at the club.”

The current president of the club, Faeeza Davids, is the wife of the late Ismael Davids, while the management of the club is led by her nephew and son with the assistance of their executive members.
