The City of Cape Town has announced there will be an interruption to the electricity supply to Thornton in Cedar Ave, Kareeboom Ave, Plane Ave, Manatoka Ave, Poplar Ave, Hawthorne Crescent, Watsonia Crescent and vicinity on Thursday 12 December from 08:30 till 15:30.
The interruption is required for outdoor substation 11Kv switchgear maintenance.
Customers are advised to treat all electricity installations as live for the full duration of the interruption, as the electricity supply may be restored at any time without warning.
